Consulting Project







Program Commitment

Businesses selected for the program must commit to the following:

  • 2.5 hours to attend Business Advising Day in November 2026 (in person at the UW campus)
  • 2.5 hours to attend the Program Kickoff in January 2027 (virtual).
  • Approximately 1–2 hours per week from January through March 2027, including about 1 hour per week for meetings with the student consulting team (in person or virtual).
  • 1.5 hours to attend the Final Presentations in March 2027 (in person at the UW campus).
  • 2 hours to attend the Year-End Program Celebration in May 2027 (in person at the UW campus).

Businesses selected for the program must commit to the following:
  • 2–3 hours for the Program Kickoff.
  • 1–2 hours per week meeting with and supporting the student consulting team.
  • 2–3 hours for midpoint and lender-related review meetings, as needed.
  • 2–3 hours for the Final Presentation and loan package review.

Businesses selected for the program must be financially and operationally prepared to participate in FIN 579. Participating businesses must be willing to provide requested financial and business documentation (including financial statements, tax returns, debt information, and ownership details), engage with MBA student consultants, and collaborate in the development of a lender-ready loan package and business recommendations.
